Correlation-induced d -wave pairing in a quantum dot square lattice

We consider an electrostatically induced square lattice of quantum dots and study the role electron-electron correlations in resulting electronic features system. utilize Wannier functions methodology to construct a Hamiltonian for interacting fermions, find that change depth dot confining potential results transition from moderately, strongly correlated regime obtain approximate ground state by means variational Monte Carlo method wide range dopings. The values microscopic parameters, charge gap, as well spin- pair-correlation obtained signify presence antiferromagnetic spin ordering realization Mott insulator phase. Moreover, we report on two-dome structure emerging $d$-wave paired residing both sides half-filled case. are discussed view well-known family unconventional superconducting materials, such copper-based compounds.
